Novelist Harper (Taye Diggs) has agreed to be the best man at the wedding of his college friends Mia (Monica Calhoun) and Lance (Morris Chestnut) and is looking forward to being reunited with his other old friends at the weekend celebration. However, as the big day approaches, word gets out that Harper's latest book - a semi-autobiographical account of his student years - contains a thinly veiled description of a sexual encounter between himself and Mia, and when Lance hears about this he promptly cancels the wedding. Is this the end for the happy couple, or can Harper put things right before it's too late?
